Project: To create a responsive website for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Process: I chose Cress Funeral & Cremation Services to challenge myself to create an elegant website for a tough topic. This project required a lot of sensitivity and awareness; I used nature as my jumping off point, and then created uplifting and nostalgic image treatments for the photographs. I also created icons using birds as the common thread; cardinals are believed to be spiritual messengers from loved ones. I used a swan and a wave to gently suggest ‘a wave of grief’.
